while installing ubuntu message pop up saying "there is an cd fault.. etc and it stops installing"

Bug Description

I have been download ubuntu linux as core OS in my HP pavilion g series laptop.
and then when it starts copying files then the message pop up's and tell that the CD/USB is faulty and the ubuntu OS is not installed further and stops. Please resolve my bug as much fast as you can....

It's possible you have a bad write to your media. If you're still having problems please try the option to check the integrity of the image from the installer boot menu, and if this confirms that the media is corrupt, try re-writing it.
