Bug Description
# Actual behavior:
it seems some of the mirrors are 404ing:
- http://
- https:/
Those mirrors still appear in the mirrors list ( http://
The bug is that: https:/
But when accessing the link http://
# Expected behavior:
The mirrors without any image shouldn't appear in the mirrors list ( http://
# Some Context
This mirror list is used in ubuntu.com to dispatch the downloads of the images so they don't all point to our infrastructure. This will affect the users that are trying to download ubuntu's images.
For now the mirror list has been disabled on the site since we got a few reports of missing images from external users. This means that all the traffic is currently pointing at our infrastructure.
This is the pull request that removed on our side the mirror list: https:/

Is it possible that the mirror was working 2 days ago (when the logs reported that all images were found for some series)?
I'm checking the code here, but I couldn't spot anything obviously wrong. Maybe the info is just outdated. If that's the case, we might just need to re-run the mirror checking and make it run more frequently.
