Conflict with Graphic Card In Kubuntu&Edubuntu

Bug Description

When I start To install Kubuntu or Edubuntu Or Start Kunubtu as a live cd the screen goes off although I hear the startup sound. But Ubuntu started and installed correclty without this Prob. I have a M.B gigabyte 865 with a built-in graphic card intel 865 with 32 MB and 15 inches monitor. My processor 2.8GHz.
N.B. Kubuntu sometimes start, others not. It only starts when I choose the second choise " Safely graphic mode".

Are you using the Gutsy (7.10) version, or a different version? Can you switch to a virtual terminal after it has booted blank, using ctrl-alt-f1? If so, please copy the files /var/log/Xorg.0.log and /var/log/Xorg.0.log.old and attach them to this bug report.
