Japanese input has stopped working.
It cannot be used after the update including ibus-mozc performed around this week (2020/03 1st week?). Before that, it worked.

With this update, you can now open the broken mozc settings UI. That's excellent.

Thanks for your report!

I suspect that this is not a mozc issue, and that you just need to update the libglib2.0-* packages to the latest version (see bug #1865907). Can you please do so and let us know if it fixes it.
