Have clean XML for MIDI mapping or a way to select none in "Load Preset"

Bug Description
Once you select something from Preferences > Controllers > Preset List, there is no way back to have clean XML file for a given MIDI device. Thus explaining to a newbie how create new clean MIDI mapping becomes unexpectedly frustrating.
Could there be some NEW or Default option so XLM file doesn't get filled with irrelevant mapping lines?
