Some error links can't be followed to a valid page

I've noticed a couple of times some error links are not followable, seemingly
due to a quoting issue somewhere.

For example:

I now suspect the problem is backticks in assertion messages. If you look at https://errors.ubuntu.com/?release=Ubuntu%2021.10&package=gnome-shell&period=week then the entries containing a ` do not resolve to a valid page.
