kaffeine doesn't use mplayer even if it's installed

Bug Description

Binary package hint: kaffeine

I've kaffeine and mplayer installed. In previous version Kubuntu 7.04 i can use mplayer in kaffeine, but in 7.10 i cannot. kaffein doesn't show mplayer engine.

In Kaffeine's Handbook on Kubuntu 8.04 LTS look at Chapter 2. "Player Parts" .

Apparently Kaffeine can either use xine or gstreamer . Afaik, mplayer is just another frontend to either xine or gstreamer. I guess you'll have to download the kaffeine-gstreamer package to enable the gstreamer engine.

Okay, I did some research and I guess I was wrong about mplayer being a frontend for gstreamer or xine! It looks like it's an engine of and by itself.
