Bug Description

Prior to the last upgrade (19.10), I used the Search key for one of my custom keyboard shortcuts.
(I am using a Lenovo T450s, so the Search key is the button which works as F10 when the Fn key is also pressed.)

In 19.10, this is no longer possible. The Search key is initially set up with the Search function, ie opens a magnifying glass text entry box to look for things. If I disable that function in the Keyboard dialogue, it still works!

And therefore I cannot use the key as I wish.

This problem is no better on 20.04.

-> In the Keyboard Shortcuts dialogue, no function is assigned to the "Search" key.
-> There is a custom keyboard shortcut assigned to Ctrl-Search. It works fine.
-> When I try to set a custom shortcut to the Search key, instead, the desktop pops into zoomed-out-view-all-my-windows view whenever I press the Search key, even though I have clicked "Set Shortcut" and the key should be trapped

-> Moreover, even if I set the key with the command

gsettings set org.gnome.settings-daemon.plugins.media-keys.custom-keybinding:/org/gnome/settings-daemon/plugins/media-keys/custom-keybindings/custom8/ binding 'Search'

It now shows up correctly in the dialogue listing shortcuts, but the action of the key is unchanged: it still just displays the Super-key overview view rather than carrying out my custom shortcut function

The "Search" key corresponds to pressing the F10 key, without the Fn modifier, on this Lenovo T450s, running 20.04.

Please help me disable this behaviour that seems hard-wired to this key!
This is a regression since 19.10, as mentioned before.

This problem is unaddressed on two computers after upgrading to Ubuntu 20.10.
Now I can using the GUI set up a custom keyboard shortcut associated witth the "search" key, but it still does nothing. Pressing the "search" key just gives me the desktop search.
