Dependency error installing pulseaudio-esound-compat

Running: apt-get install pulseaudio-esound-compat
I get the following error:
The following packages have unmet dependencies:
 pulseaudio-esound-compat : Depends: libpulse0 (= 1:11.1-1ubuntu7.4) but 1:11.1-1ubuntu7.5 is to be installed
                            Depends: pulseaudio (= 1:11.1-1ubuntu7.4)

Seems like pulseaudio-esound-compat has not been updated for the latest package versions of libpulse0 and pulseaudio.

It seems this is a side effect of a mistake made in the release and subsequent withdrawal of update 1:11.1-1ubuntu7.5. So it's not a bug in the code but is a problem people will encounter with Ubuntu updates...

This should automatically correct itself with the re-release of 1:11.1-1ubuntu7.5. In the meantime you can manually install whichever set of packages you need from either:

1:11.1-1ubuntu7.4: https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/pulseaudio/1:11.1-1ubuntu7.4/+build/17893827

1:11.1-1ubuntu7.5: https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/pulseaudio/1:11.1-1ubuntu7.5/+build/18146190

Do you know when 1:11.1-1ubuntu7.5 will be re-released?
My update Ubuntu installation has the last version installed on Nov 22, 2019.
Also, my apt package manager doesn't seem to know about "withdrawals" so the rest of my pulseaudio files remain from 1:11.1-1ubuntu7.5

BTW, I was able to install pulseaudio-esound-compate 11.1-1ubuntu7.5 manually from the site you linked above so your diagnosis seems right.

I've just asked its author to look at it again and maybe give us an update.
