Bug Description
Lightdm greeter is truncating pam/error messages. At least using the default Ubuntu Mate layout, the space available for the error messages located just above the login/password field is too small. There should be some way of adjusting the space or a button to press to allow the whole message to be displayed. Currently I must go to the console login so I can read the whole information.
In the screenshot attached, the full message would be:
Password expired. Change your password now.
