Calculator does not work in GNOME activities search

What happens instead: no results are displayed.

The bug started happening after the last update of the package. The previous version worked properly.

The results are sometimes displayed in an odd way for random calculations, but I don't know if there's a pattern. Have a look at the attachment.

Is this maybe due to the patches introduced to fix the following bug?
