Bug Description

Sleep button doesn't work at all, and when I close the lid, the screen goes black, but there's a cursor, and it doesn't respond. Had to force shut down.

Sorry for the belated response.
According to the log, there's no suspend attempt. Probably the lid close status isn't right.

If you have another system, can you please SSH to the system and check "/proc/acpi/button/lid/LID0/state"?

And before that, please update all packages.

Sorry for the late response

Do you want me to run that command when the lid is close?
