Link and interface speed are always 0

This is with MAAS 2.7.0~rc1-8204-g.d93c8433c-0ubuntu1~18.04.1

After commissioning a machine, the link and interface speeds for network
interfaces are always 0.

This is visible both in the UI and the API. Here's an example of the
node info from the API:

Have you tried running the lxd binary on this hardware? We should double verify that it is a MAAS bug and not a bug with the lxd binary.

I can see this in the logs, which probably is why the information isn't being updated:
