Bug Description

In 3.4.1:

The title "Newest Items by Shelving Location" is confusing. After testing, it appears that the difference between it and "Newly Catalogued Items" is that this one does not require any shelving locations to be selected.

I don't have a great suggestion for a better title - perhaps something like "New Items - No Shelving Location Required" ? Other suggestions welcome.

I feel like I had something to do with this. The original idea was simply the "Newly Cataloged Items" - the libraries liked it but some wanted more control. Then the derivative "By Shelving Location" was born. You've found the true meaning of each of them through experimentation but that, of course, isn't what we want everyone to do in order to figure out the functionality.

"Newest Items by Shelving Location" - seems correct and descriptive.

"Newly Catalogued Items" - needs a bit more. How about:

"Newly Catalogued Items - Global"
or
"Newly Catalogued Items - All Shelves"

I still find that confusing - isn't that backwards? We're using "Newest Items by Shelving Location" because it doesn't require that any shelving locations be selected (even though it CAN filter by shelving location).

I'm not sure that "Newly Cataloged Items" even needs to be there.

I'm going to mark this invalid since it seems I'm the only one that finds it confusing. If we ever give our libraries permissions to create their own carousels, we may just change the titles internally.
