Since opencryptoki 3.13.0 landed in proposed (many thx xnox):
"opencryptoki | 3.13.0+dfsg-0ubuntu1 | focal-proposed/universe | s390x"
I'm changing the status to Fix Committed.

Please notice that the new upstream release opencryptoki v3.13 (https://github.com/opencryptoki/opencryptoki/releases/tag/v3.13.0)
addresses both tickets:
LP 1858792 ("[20.04 FEAT] openCryptoki ep11 token: Support for new hardware") and
LP 1853300 ("[20.04 FEAT] openCryptoki ep11 token: Enhanced Support") <this>.
