KSnapshot beeps on every screen dump

Bug Description

Every time a screen dump is captured with KSnapshot, a very annoying PC speaker beep is heard.

Steps to reproduce:
1: Open KSnapshot and set capture mode to full screen and delay to 1 sec.
2: Click New Snapshot.
3: Wait 1 second and listen.
4: A very annoying beep sounds.

I have no idea why this beeping has been implemented. I cannot see how it could be useful for anyone. And it is extremely annoying if you have to take a lot of screen dumps (e.g. for software user manuals and the like).

Fix:
The beep should be removed or at least an easy method of disabling the beep should be provided.

This beeping is not generated by ksnapshot nor KDE, but rather caused by the kernel/pc speaker driver reacting to a special signal. Either try turning it off in your PC's BIOS or blacklist the appropriate pc speaker driver (Google usually helps with finding out what the driver is called).

Changed in kdegraphics:
status: New → Invalid

Well, even though the beeping is not caused directly by KSnapShot, but caused by a driver, it is still KSnapShot sending the signal that causes the beep, right?
Then there should be an option to make KSnapShot not send this signal.
