Bug Description

Hi,

as far as I understood Ubuntu is moving towards Kubernetes and is supporting it. As far as I know podman is a docker replacement, but based on the Kubernetes engine and closer to it. Furthermore podman is set to have several (security) advantages, eg. not depending on a central daemon running as root.

Wouldn't it make sense to take podman into the regular ubuntu distribution for ubuntu 20.04 ?

regards

This is definitely not the appropriate place for this to be filed (because "src:podman" not existing is definitely not a *Docker* bug).

What would be more appropriate would be to take a look at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UbuntuDevelopment/NewPackages.

Changed in docker.io (Ubuntu):
