LXPanel 0.10.0 regression bug

I have added a virtual interface uap0 of type __ap.

In dhcpcd.conf I have:
denyinterfaces uap0

So dhcpcd ignores this interface.

In the past 0.9.xx, this used to work correctly.

However, in 0.10.0, LXPanel now reports "Wi-Fi country not set", but in fact it is already set in wpa_supplicant.conf, and even if I click the set country button, it won't let me set it.

I suspect this is related to the raspberry pi foundations network setup, rather than being a raspbian issue per-se.
