Thank you for your bug report. Do you have an xorg or wayland session? Could you add your 'journactl -b 0' log after triggering the issue?

By the way: I can temporarily fix these issues by maximizing the windows.

I too have this behaviour, making gnome-tweaks very hard to use. I have had it for some months, presumably since installing 19.10. It is still there in 20.04. Could something be done to fix it?

@jds10, could you add a 'journalctl -b 0' log from the system after triggering the issue?

The log attached in previous comment shows issues with the LockKeysIndicator extension, could be due to it

the gnome-control-center situation shouldn't trigger again in focal since the dynamic layout mode and the hidding of the sidebar has been disabled now

Changed in gnome-control-center (Ubuntu):
status: Incomplete → Invalid
no longer affects: gnome-control-center (Ubuntu)
affects: gnome-tweak-tool (Ubuntu) → gnome-tweaks (Ubuntu)

Simply moving the left margin of gnome-tweaks to the left exposes the category list, making it seem more likely that the window has not been given a size.
