Zorin Menu doesn't respond to clicking

Bug Description
To get the Windows Start menu experience, there is the Zorin Menu. When I first installed Zorin OS Ultimate, the Zorin Menu was functioning as expected. I could click the menu button and it opened the "Start meun" for Zorin. However, overtime clicking stopped responding.
The only way to open the "Start menu" is via the "Windows Key" on the keyboard.
