Bug Description

I just installed Ubuntu 19.10 desktop daily 20191009 on VirtualBox 6.0.12 r133076 (virtualbox.org packages) running on Ubuntu 18.04.3.

18ebdad23234e617c7f33dec4cc6346ec443a3cc7edf004275483c63832791cf eoan-desktop-amd64.iso

Both host and guest are amd64, both are configured to boot in UEFI mode.

I choose the ZFS installation option, all other options (except for keyboard layout) are default, username, password and hostname are all 'x'. Installation succeeds, but upon reboot, grub only sees a single menu option: System setup.

The virtual HDD I installed this on previously had a standard Ubuntu 19.10 installation on it (which I did not zero).

You are welcome to ping me on IRC (nickname==LP username) to get faster responses if you have any questions.

Do you have a kernel installed on your targetted system? (check its /boot)
It looks like a dup of bug #1847457 to me. Setting as incomplete for now.
