You must be in the folder to see the issue.

Hi Jeffrey
Could you please try to explain me the exact behavior you're experiencing, i couldn't really understand what you were trying to point out. Does evolution shows "0 mails" when the folders are empty?, does it shows the amount of mails containing another folder or you don't want evolution to show anything when there's no items in the folder.
