In the Notification Preferences tab of My Account the option for "Email checkout receipts by default?" is not currently translatable.
It doesn't appear as a string under tpac or webstaff in the LP Translations.

the string "Email checkout receipts by default?" is in db.seed in the LP translations.
You probably don't see the string translated due to problems with cache in localized webstaff interface (I believe it's related to the bug 1560805).
We have discovered funny workaround for this including following steps:
- Before log in to staff client, open the TPAC home page.
- Switch the OPAC language to English (I suppose, this is your default, so you probably don´t need to switch to English)
- Switch the OPAC language to desired locale language (in our case it is Czech)
- Clear browser cache
Open the web staff client login page and log in.
