System crash with window roll-up + close

Bug Description

I have found that rolling up a window and clicking the close window button before it is finished rolling up causes the system to crash. Killing X with ctrl-atl-backspace works with after a long delay to restart things.

I am running feisy, compiz fusion, and gnome. All versions are the current that are in the repository. Emerald is also installed.

Only my system with an nvidia chipset exhibits this bug, my laptop with an ATI chipset does not crash. (It has a similar software setup)

Please let me know if you need any more information, I can run tests and such if you like.

Is this symptom still reproducible in 8.10 or 9.04?
