Boot hang with Ubuntu 18.04.03

Hi
I'm a novice Ubuntu user. Trying to install Ubuntu 18.04.03 on Intel coffee lake platform with NVIDIA RTX2080 (Notebook),system will hang and stop working. But this is not seen when using previous Ubuntu version 18.04.2 .
Any help would be hugely appreciated.
