Change eeschema graphics select all the canvas

To reproduce:
1) Select a simple element on Eeschema;
2) Change the graphic motor pressing <F11> / <F12>;
ERROR) All the canvas get selected.

I'm not sure this is a selection issue. It looks more like an anti-aliasing issue on Linux. I only see this on certain zoom levels. I've included a screen recording for reference purposes. I'm not sure there is much we can do about this.

The flash, could it be.
But about the selection of the full screen reported? (@Wayne try to reproduce it selecting some part in the canvas before change the F11-F12).

I see the same behavior as described and show in Hildo's video.

The highlight color om the part is the color used for the whole canvas after the switch to accelerated.

@Hildo, I just tested this with an object selected and indeed I got the same pale blue background that you demonstrated in your screen recording. It looks like some kind of redraw bug.
