I'm not aware of such file used in MG5aMCNLO.
This sounds a file needed by MadDM? Is it possible?
If yes, this is certainly not available via pythia8 install but one of the special install of MadDM.
I will check which one if you confirm that this is a MadDM issue (and then move your bug report to MadDM section).

Looks like that I was wrong this is not a file that need to be installed in advance. But one generated by pythia8.
I would need more information (pythia8 log?, debug file,...) in order to be able to help.

This error happen when i try to set indirect_flux_source pythia8
my model that i use is DMsimp_spin0
I just follow the example from the appendix in the MadDM v.3.0: a Comprehensive Tool for Dark Matter Studies paper and i only change the model.
