Bug Description
Binary package hint: ksynaptics
On a fresh Gutsy install of kubuntu I have installed ksynaptics and added the required option to /etc/X11/xorg.conf but when opening the kxynaptics control panel get an error from the control module.
----- begin excerpt from /etc/X11/xorg.conf -----
Section "InputDevice"
Identifier "Synaptics Touchpad"
Driver "synaptics"
Option "SendCoreEvents" "true"
Option "Device" "/dev/psaux"
Option "Protocol" "auto-dev"
Option "HorizScrollDelta" "0"
Option "SHMConfig" "on"
EndSection
----- end excerpt from /etc/X11/xorg.conf -----
I have also tried both of the following modifications to the SHMConfig option to no avail.
Option "SHMconfig" "on"
and
Option "SHMconfig" "true"
