Pcbnew assert when opening board setup (MacOS)

I can't really reproduce this one, but it has happened a few times now, so the crash dump might be interesting.

Tried opening the Board Setup dialog in pcbnew, Wx throws an error popup suggesting to close kicad. Clicking yes ends kicad in a crash.
