Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-panel

After waking up, or after coming out of suspend, gnome-panel hangs consuming ~100% of CPU. Menus and icons aren't drawn (other than in the Notification Area).

I'm using standard Gutsy packages.

Other info that may or may not be relevant:
- I have Power Management Preferences set to blank the display after a period of inactivity.
- I'm running compiz
- I have the panels set to vertical orientation, and sized to 32 pixels so I can see icons in the Window List

Thank you for your bug. Could you get a gnome-panel backtrace when you get the issue? Do you get every time after suspend? Could you try with a stock user configuration?
