Bug Description

* When an external, encrypted harddrive is connected to my laptop's docking station, sometimes after switching users or logging back in after a suspend, the gnome-shell password dialog is asking for the harddrive's password for decryption.

* When entering the password and hitting enter, pressing the continue button, or pressing the cancel button, I expect the dialog to close or in case of a wrong password to stay open and tell me so.

* Instead the dialog box does not react. It is not possible to close or remove it. I have to parallely log in as another user and do 'sudo kill -HUP <pid of first user's gnome-shell>' and log back in as the original user

The problem is known upstream and I have identified two patches, which I believe fix this problem:

https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-shell/commit/5594a1ee0b4cd66be1729286b3c34ca519909366
