Unable to update record collection in Gcstar

I have been unable to download record data from Musicbrainz or Discogs recently.
I generally update as Ubuntu Studio wishes, and I strongly suggest one of these updates has "killed" the download data function.

I have many thousands of LP vinyl records, many of which are quite rare.

I was able to download data from the two sites untill recently, now I cannot.
Is there a quick fix? As I dont work on my record collection everyday I dont know exaclty which update caused the glitch.
