Bug Description
The hardy kernels toshiba_acpi module does not support the 'hotkeys_over_acpi' option anymore so my hotkeys do not work at all since.
I purged acpi-support and reinstalled it and it is not an upgrade issue but simply the stock kernel not supporting it.
$ cat /etc/modprobe.
options toshiba_acpi hotkeys_over_acpi=1
Maybe the hotkeys will move away from the acpi method ? I tried to remove the argument and the module loads correctly but unfortunately no hotkey works.
I have a toshiba satellite M30 with the following packages installed as today :
ii acpi-support 0.105 a collection of useful events for acpi
ii linux-image-ge 2.6.24.4.4 Generic Linux kernel image
thanks :)

Is there any alternative for using hotkeys?
