open terminal n keyboard mapping mess up...like <esc>, <shift>c

Bug Description
i tried to perform following activities n the keyboard mapping are all messed up. no customization on keyboard done.
problem 1
--------
- open terminal
- press <pageup> key
- able to page up to previous executed command, but at the same time the "internal microphone" key pop up "ON" "OFF"
problem 2
--------
- press <esc> key
- the "internal microphone" key pop up "ON" "OFF"
test 1

- enable "keyboard layout chart" graphical interface
- press <right shift>+c
- only the <right shift> key blink (BAD)
- press <left shift>+c
- <left shift> and "c" keys blink (GOOD)
