Bug Description

Binary package hint: flpsed

I just found out about flpsed today, so I installed the gutsy package:

burner@phoenix:~/Desktop$ rm testpage.ps
burner@phoenix:~/Desktop$ cp /usr/share/hplip/data/ps/testpage.ps.gz .
burner@phoenix:~/Desktop$ gunzip testpage.ps.gz
burner@phoenix:~/Desktop$ flpsed testpage.ps
exec: No such file or directory
Please install ghostscript and make sure 'gs' is in the PATH.

But I have gs in my path:
burner@phoenix:~/Desktop$ gs -v
GPL Ghostscript SVN PRE-RELEASE 8.61 (2007-08-02)
Copyright (C) 2007 Artifex Software, Inc. All rights reserved.

I'm attaching a screenshot of what shows in the display (nothing) and what evince displays when I open the same file.

OK, I've found a duplicate of this bug. The problem is that it is calling gs-esp and not gs.

The command
sudo ln -s /usr/bin/gs /usr/bin/gs-esp

Will make it work for now.
It will be fixed for Hardy.
