LPE crash rotating stitched subpaths assertion

Steps to reproduce:

Create 2 paths, combine (Ctrl-K)
Use LPE Stitch Sub-Paths
Select the object created and try rotating it. Inkscape crashes
Crash with assertion:

Can you give us a file and a precise rotation to test it? I cannot reproduce it, but I fixed Inkscape crashing. Now it just aborts calculation of the LPE. (Inkscape mentions it in the statusbar)

Ok, this is a simple test file, simply rotate the object 90 degrees clockwise / anticlockwise using the buttons on the toolbar if it matters, in Inkscape's preferences transforms are set to optimised.

attaching a file that shows the problem, although every stitched-path that I have created has crashed Inkscape so far...

This does not crash for me (it also does not show a 2geom exception in the statusbar...).
What Inkscape version are you using?

Sry, I meant that the SVG file does not crash for me when rotating with the toolbar buttons.

 With Inkscape 0.45+0.46pre0+devel, Inkscape crashes if transformations are set to optimised.
I have just tested with today's downloadable build:
Inkscape 0.45+devel+devel, built Jan 18 2008
and I can no longer make it crash, which is good, and the LPE appears to be transformed correctly without any error messages in the status bar... so it's strange.
