Bug Description

Hey there,

Unsure if that's the best place for such requests or if you have a mailing list or such, but would it be possible to have a 8.01 version out? We would like to get the new serie in Ubuntu but 8.00 had some rough edges and the vcs seems it a better shape now

Thanks Kenneth! Trying trunk there are still a bunch of test failures, I was trying to poke a bit at bug #1833685 to see if it's a python issue or one in duplicity/the test, could you get it on the milestone list?

Also is there any instruction somewhere on how to run a specific test? I was trying to filter down that one to a small example to see if the issue is with tarfile but it's a bit tedious to have to start the whole testsuite at every change...
