Bug Description

Binary package hint: transmission

Now that Transmission has been officially included, it would be good to keep a greater visual consistency with the rest of the included Gnome apps. One easy way to do so would be to use the system-wide icons for certain elements such as the ratio, upload, download and search bar. That would be easy and would result in a better-looking app.

Another thing to do would be using tango colours for the progress bars. You can find the Tango palette here: http://tango.freedesktop.org/Tango_Icon_Theme_Guidelines

Here's a mockup of how Transmission would look using Tangerine icons.

Transmission already uses GTK stock icons where possible. Is it not the case on your system?

No, as you can see in the attached screenshot the ratio, upload, download and search icons don't follow the system settings.

Don't forget the bar colours; more and more gnome apps are using the Tango palette, and Transmission bars look -to my eye- awfully out of place in a gnome desktop.

I'm using Transmission 1.01 on Gutsy and it seems to be using the system search icon, at least
