Bug Description

Binary package hint: totem

totem plays only the first seconds of certain mp3s i have.

Other players like vlc, foobar2000 play the whole mp3.
If somebody is willing to debug this, post your email and i'll send you an mp3 showing this behavior.

I tried to play the file in totem and it shows+plays only the first 3 seconds of this file. But when I try the same in other media player, namely amarok, it shows+plays 2:27 mins of the song, which is perhaps the entire song. I could reproduce the error and hence I confirm the error.

Thanks ccc1 for filing the bug. If possible, can you put the mp3 file in a publicly reachable location so people can use the file and work on this bug? Am not sure whether I can attach it here.

That's more like a gstreamer issue then, can you attach the file to the report?
