Bug Description
Trying to add a via where there's difficult to find a place for it is problematic. Often I hit V while routing but there's no indication if KiCad registered the key press at all or that it's trying to add a via. Also it's almost impossible to see where it could fit. It would help if there were for example a circle outline (not the whole via, just the largest outline as thin circle which includes clearance) in the end of the current track. I believe it would be easy to implement, yet would help visually when trying to find a place for the via.

Clarification: the problem exists when there's no room for a via in the place where the track is being routed. The via with clearance is visible when there's room.
