Could you please run 'apport-collect 1831679' in a terminal? This will automatically gather information about your system and add it to the bug report. Thanks in advance.

I'm not seeing anything about nvidia drivers in the logs which apport provided. Could you go through the process of having the drivers removed and then add the files '/var/log/apt/term.log' and '/var/log/apt/history.log'? Thanks again.

Hello Brian Murray,

Sure, I'll go through the update, the next time I'm prompted.

Do you want me to issue a sudo apt purge nvidia* and manually install
the nvidia drivers, instead?  Would you like me to add the the log files
to the bug report?  Thank you.

Best wishes,

Surendra
