After choosing one of the material in the list for Er, TanD, and Rho, it would be useful to set this material as the default choice in the "..." list dialogs.
If the value has been altered by the user and does not match any material, no default material should be selected (and the OK button should be disabled).

Patch proposal:
- When selecting an option from the list dialogs (Er, TanD or Rho), the selected option is stored.
- Next time the user opens the list dialogs, the previously selected option is set as initial selection.
However, I do not see any input parameter for "no initial selection" in wxWidget.
