Bug Description
Binary package hint: procps
top(1) output is messed up when the first column (PID) is selected for sorting and highlighted.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Open a terminal or switch to a virtual console.
2. Start top.
3. Hit 'x' to enable column highlighting. (The effect of this is not visible. Another bug?)
4. Hit '<' a couple of times (8 times) to select the first column (PID).
I am using Ubuntu 7.10 (gutsy) with procps 1:3.2.7-3ubuntu5.
