Bug Description
Please sync hmmer 3.2.1+dfsg-1 (universe) from Debian unstable (main)
Explanation of the Ubuntu delta and why it can be dropped:
* Sync on Debian unstable. Remaining changes:
- Enable altivec on powerpc/ppc64el
- Enable arch:any builds
You can drop the delta because ppc64el is not supported by the hmmer3 devs (see [1] p.19).
I have re-enabled builds for powerpc [2] and ppc64 [3] (both are supported by upstream [1]). It will be uploaded in Debian after the current freeze, but I think it is not useful to keep a delta here only for not official arches (powerpc and ppc64).

Version 3.2.1 now FTBFS on unsupported architectures during configure, so there is no point in trying to apply the Ubuntu delta.
e.g. (on arm64)
configure: ::::::::::--- no vector instruction set ---::::::::::
configure: HMMER3 requires SSE or VMX vector instructions.
configure: Supported platforms are x86 (Intel/AMD) and PowerPC.
configure: error: No supported vectorization found for your machine.
and (on ppc64el)
configure: ::::::::::--- no vector instruction set ---::::::::::
configure: HMMER3 Altivec/VMX only supports bigendian platforms: e.g.
ppc64 not ppc64le
configure: error: No supported vectorization found for your machine.
