In Xubuntu Hardy Alpha3 desktop CD totem fails to start due to missing library libgnome-desktop-2.so.2

Xubuntu Hardy x86_64 install updated with update-manager at 10am cst on tuesday 15 January 2008.

I can confirm this problem with both totem-xine and totem-gstreamer (/usr/bin/totem was a symlink to /etc/alternatives/totem which in turn was a symlink to /usr/bin/totem-gstreamer). In my opinion either a GTK (-gnome libraries) build should be available or the default player should change for Xubuntu.

$ /usr/bin/totem-gstreamer

$ /usr/bin/totem-xine
