[2.6, UI, performance] Accessing the 'machines' tab takes a few seconds before it renders anything

With the recent changes on the machine listing page, I noticed that accessing the 'Machines' takes a while to render everything before it even shows anything.

For example I do this:

1. Click on subnets
2. Click on machines - at this point, it takes a few seconds before the UI actually switches to the machines tab
3. I see all the data is already rendered.

The experienced that used to work like, and what I would have expected:

1. Click on subnets
2. Click on macines tab - at this point, I would have seen the headers
3. The UI would have starting displaying the list of machines as it would load them while showing 'Loading'.

The latter experience is obviously better. I'm just concerned with 1000s of machines, this could take even longer to access such tab.
