Bug Description

Binary package hint: k3b

When burning a cd image with a non empty CD/RW, k3b erases the cd, then ejects it - and issues an error (no permission to open the device) and fails.

This is on a DELL D820. This might be termed "the son of #114758"

Is this symptom still reproducible in 8.10 or 9.04?

Hi,

As far as I know this bug persists. I am still using 8.04.

The issue stopped being a problem for me after I enabled "do not eject
medium after after write process" in the advanced setting.
The problem occurs on a laptop with a drive lacking the ability to
load the tray, where verify is requested and the above disabled.
