EEschema - wire tool exits after a mouse click

If you activate place wire tool and draw the first wire, the tool goes back to the default (select item) mode. So in order to draw multiple wires you have to keep clicking on Place Wire button (or keep using Place Wire shortcut) after each wire is placed.
