Software boutique not properly uninstalling software after it was marked to remove

Bug Description
Some software is not correctly uninstalling that was installed with boutique. For example if I install DisplayCAL, and then remove it using Software Boutique the software appears to be uninstalled however it still appears in the whisker menu.
After further examination running:
$ apt search displaycal
Sorting... Done
Full Text Search... Done
dispcalgui/
transitional dummy package to displaycal
displaycal/
Graphical user interface for the Argyll CMS.
Boutique installed dispcalgui, and displaycal was installed as a dependency, but not removed when it was marked to remove in boutique.
