Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. It seems that your bug report is not filed about a specific source package though, rather it is just filed against Ubuntu in general. It is important that bug reports be filed about source packages so that people interested in the package can find the bugs about it. You can find some hints about determining what package your bug might be about at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/FindRightPackage. You might also ask for help in the #ubuntu-bugs irc channel on Freenode.

To change the source package that this bug is filed about visit https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/1824667/+editstatus and add the package name in the text box next to the word Package.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and trying to help make Ubuntu better.

You created this bug report stating that you were using 'Chrome' which is a package not provided by the official Ubuntu repositories. Do you see the same problem using the official Ubuntu 'chromium-browser' package?

If so and with 'chromium-browser' installed, please execute the following command only once, as it will automatically gather debugging information, in a terminal:

apport-collect 1824667

When reporting bugs please use apport by using 'ubuntu-bug' and the name of the package affected. You can learn more about this functionality at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/ReportingBugs.

Changed in chromium-browser (Ubuntu):
status: Confirmed → Incomplete

The problem is that chromium does not have a built-in flash and it does not apply to this application: x

Please clarify what you are reporting this problem against:

1) Google Chrome
2) Chromium, as provided by the official Ubuntu repositories
3) Or both Google's Chrome and Ubuntu's Chromium

Google Chrome is not a software package that is provided by the official Ubuntu repositories so the Ubuntu project can not support, help with or fix your problem.

Please report this bug to the provider of the software package:
